Spoonbill Celebrates 20 Years with a Hometown Spectacle at 170 Russell

Acclaimed producer and sonic innovator Spoonbill celebrates two decades of music releases and global touring with a massive 20-year anniversary show in his hometown of Melbourne. Taking over the iconic 170 Russell, this milestone show promises a full-spectrum sensory journey through 20 years of boundary-pushing sound, brought to life with unique, next-level production.

At the heart of the show is the Spoonbill Ensemble - a genre-bending fusion of live electronics, horns, violin, and guitar - crafting lush cinematic textures, intricate grooves, and deep bass. This dynamic set charts Spoonbill’s creative arc, showcasing the evolution of his original sound across two decades.

Long-time visual collaborator Dropbear brings the story to life with a custom visual experience - blending live projections and dynamic imagery into a collage of motion and colour. Together, they’ll deliver an immersive experience shaped by years of shared creative expression.

Joining the celebration is a stacked lineup of sonic adventurers: Hypnotech, Smilk, Kodiak Kid, Pxlmtrees, Eastward, and Eelz, each bringing a unique blend of sound, style, and energy to the stage - from dope downtempo to dancefloor heat.
