Spoonbill Celebrates 20 Years with a Brisbane jamboree at The Triffid

Acclaimed producer and sonic innovator Spoonbill celebrates two decades of music releases and global touring with a massive 20-year anniversary bash in Brisbane. 

Presented in collaboration with Earth Frequency Festival and The Wonky QLD’er crew, the event will transform the Main Room and Garden spaces of The Triffid into a vibrant, multi-sensory playground. Attendees can expect a full-spectrum journey through two decades of Spoonbill’s unique sound—where lush cinematic textures, intricate grooves, and deep bass converge in an immersive live experience that traces his creative evolution.

Joining the celebration is a stacked lineup of sonic alchemists, including revered interstate producers Chamberlain & Cheshire, plus a wild and wonderful Wonky Qld’er entourage of sonic chefs including: Emmotica, Chau, Cognito, Ukiah, That Woman, Who Knows and Brentos The Freshmaker. Each bringing a unique blend of sound, style, and vibe to the stage - from dope downtempo to dancefloor heat. 

Adding an extra layer of surreal splendour, the boundary-blurring performance collective The Hoodlum Ballet will craft live theatrical vignettes throughout the venue, merging music, movement, and mischief.
