The band OIL! is an experimental rock collective, referred to as a band (by the band), from Adelaide, South Australia. The band combines somewhat obvious kraut rock influences (NEU!, CAN) with an earnest desire to experiment with the sonic capabilities of the combination of their instruments and personalities. An OIL! live show is a completely improvised revolving door of musicians, with the core group often inviting special guests and to join them for shows.
