From the streets of Manila to the heart of Fitzroy — BARKADA NIGHT brings together raw hip-hop, electric dance energy, and our one-of-a-kind community spirit. Whether you rep the RAP or the DANCE culture, this is for the culture, by the culture.

What’s Going Down:

MC Battle Showcase – Watch two powerhouse MCs from the Philippines go bar for bar in a head-to-head lyrical clash. MILLHOUSE vs ALAKAZAM

Dance-Off Battle – Flex your moves or cheer on the wildest dancers on the floor.
Live DJ Sets – Spinning the best in hip-hop, R&B, OPM, and more.
Live Performances – Featuring local underground Filipino artists and KABARKADA lighting up the stage.

Born from the collaborative vision of BC Entertainment,Pinoy Melbourne Underground, and Barkada Night, this celebration is a celebration of hip-hop, R&B, and street culture, rooted in Filipino talent but open to all guests. It’s a space where local and international artists go bar for bar, beat for beat, and step for step, showcasing the rhythm of the city’s diverse underground.

What Makes Barkada Night Different?

This isn’t your polished, mainstream club night. Barkada Night is loud, gritty, and honest. It’s about giving the mic — and the spotlight — to the unheard and unseen. Expect:

• MC Battles that push lyrical boundaries — with special guests from the Philippines, bringing the fire of Manila’s streets straight to Melbourne.
• Dance Battles that turn the floor into a stage — no rules, just moves
• Live DJ sets and artist showcases spinning raw hip-hop, R&B, OPM, and everything in between.
• Giveaways, collabs, and spontaneous moments — anything can happen when the vibe is right.

While the night puts Filipino creativity and identity front and centre, the Barkada community is multicultural, inclusive, and global. Everyone’s welcome. From south, east, north and west we move together.
