Event Details

Bassvictim is a London-based electronic music duo featuring singer-songwriter Maria Manow and producer Ike Clateman. Dropping their first track "Canary Wharf Freestyle" in 2023, the pair became known for their explosive live shows and victim of the bass (VOTB) parties in South London. They released debut album Basspunk in 2024, the heavy trap drops and Polish-language emceeing of "As Long As" and industrial dance punk hooks of "Air on a G String" becoming viral underground hits. The LP is titled after Bassvictim's self-coined genre of the same name that one could describe as a combination grunge and rap-rock synth pop sound within the indie-sleaze revival spectrum.
