Bear’s Den return to Australia for a rare and intimate series of stripped-back performances this October, offering audiences a powerful and personal evening, up close with Andrew Davie, the songwriter and voice of Bear’s Den.

These special shows mark the 10th anniversary of Bear’s Den’s acclaimed debut album Islands, a record that found its way into the hearts of listeners around the world with enduring tracks such as Agape, Above the Clouds of Pompeii, Elysium, and Isaac. Originally released in 2014, Islands was a defining moment for a new wave of British folk-influenced songwriting, capturing the emotional weight of love, loss, and longing with exquisite restraint.

For these shows, Bear’s Den revisit the Islands album in its purest form - just the songs, and a quiet, magnetic presence - offering the audience to see Bear’s Den like never before,

Each performance is a reminder of the unique space Bear’s Den has carved in the musical landscape: both grand and intimate, polished yet vulnerable.

In addition to material from Islands, the show will include a handpicked selection of fan favourites from across Bear’s Den’s catalogue, offering a full-spectrum view of a decade’s worth of songwriting that has connected deeply with fans around the globe.
