Local sad girl singer-songwriter Emma Painter’s music is poetic yet intensely relatable, delivered through stripped-back guitar and vocals. Taking influence from artists such as Gretta Ray and Lizzy McAlpine, with lyrical inspiration from poet Sylvia Plath, Emma’s music balances strong visuals with raw emotions.

Come down to Brunswick Artists' Bar to celebrate the launch of Emma's new single, I Would Stay, an ode to self love and the non-linear nature of healing.

Emma will be joined at Brunswick Artists' Bar by two exceptionally talented songwriters and vocalists — heartfelt storyteller Matilda Duncan and soulful powerhouse Martine Holliday.
