Local jazz-funk band Free Parking are gearing up to celebrate the release of their first ever EP, ‘Perfect Parallel’ at the Toff in Town! FP features some of the finest young musicians of the Narrm/Melbourne jazz scene who are keen to give you some mind-melting grooves and tight horn lines that’ll have your head bopping in seconds. Free Parking have collaborated with artists such as Mister Co, Horatio Luna and Ambraya and are more than excited to make their record debut as a band at the Toff! Joining them for the launch will be funk pop multi-instrumentalist Bailey Judd and R&B and soul singer Johnathan Bufalino, making for an unmissable night of maximum energy and maximum groove! From captivating audiences at renowned venues like The Bergy Bandroom, The Paris Cat, and The Gasometer Hotel, to collaborating with heavyweights such as Grammy Award-winner Kendra Foster (Parliament-Funkadelic, D’Angelo & The Vanguard), his momentum is unstoppable. He’s also honed his artistry under the guidance of some of Melbourne’s finest soul and R&B figures, including THNDO and Shannon Wick (Fulton Street).
