The legendary JON SPENCER returns this Spring for his first Australian shows in a decade. Experience the underground alt-indie-punk icon and primal rock ‘n’ roll preacher with his fantastic new group as they rip through selections from their SICK OF BEING SICK! mini-LP along with a heaping helping of Pussy Galore, Blues Explosion, Heavy Trash, and HITmaker nuggets!

Jon Spencer has been an innovative force in the independent music scene since the mid-80s. An acclaimed live performer, he has toured all the continents except Antarctica and has amassed a dizzying discography as the leader of PUSSY GALORE, THE JON SPENCER BLUES EXPLOSION, HEAVY TRASH, and JON SPENCER & THE HITMAKERS, as well as his work with Boss Hog, The Honeymoon Killers, The Gibson Brothers, and Taxidermy Girls.

For his first Australian shows in ten years, Spencer returns to our neck of the woods with his new power trio made up of drummer SPIDER BOWMAN and bass player KENDALL WIND, both from the infamous Woodstock NY wunder-punks, THE BOBBY LEES.

In the past 2 years Jon, Kendall, & Spider have been wowing audiences in the USA, Canada, South America, and all across Europe with their dynamic, all-action stage review!

This series of live shows will feature a bit of everything from Spencer’s storied career. This is music from across time – raw, dirty and delivered with the high-voltage energy only Jon Spencer can summon!

Don’t miss your chance to be a witness to the cult of Jon Spencer, backed by his latest, greatest, & blistering new band.

COME ON!
