Event Details

This August, Kathleen Halloran will light up the Shotkickers stage every Wednesday night, joined by a lineup of special guests including Tiaryn, Xani Kolac, Zevon Lee and Raleigh Williams. Each week promises a unique blend of musical firepower, collaboration and spontaneous artistry.

Kathleen Halloran is fast emerging as one of the country’s most compelling new voices. She built her reputation where it matters most — on stage, guitar in hand, commanding rooms across the nation with an undeniable presence. Now front and centre, she brings a rare mix of firepower and finesse, channelling the soul and swagger of the golden-era guitar slingers through a high-voltage, distinctively modern lens. Halloran isn’t here to recreate the past — she’s forging something entirely her own. Her live performances are visceral experiences: fluid yet ferocious, emotionally charged yet precisely controlled. She weaves blistering guitar work with unflinchingly honest songwriting, creating shows that feel both wildly spontaneous and deeply purposeful. Halloran is testament to an artist who understands that true authenticity comes not from following formulas, but from fearlessly exploring the spaces between technique and instinct, tradition and innovation.

AUG 6 - w/ Tiaryn

“Tiaryn is a versatile, transformative performer, with a voice that spans from the ethereal to the commanding. She is known for her signature blend of jazz, songwriting and a magnetic stage presence.

Emerging from the trials of the pandemic and significant personal upheavals, Tiaryn has harnessed her experiences to create a vibrant, raw, and defiant body of work. Mixing child-like magic with the sensibility of a powerhouse diva, this latest collection of songs explores profound truths, inviting the listener to connect and feel deeply.”

Aug 13th - w/ XANI

Best Musician at the 2022 Music Victoria Awards, Xani’s performances are unwavering and furiously energetic. Principally a violinist, improvised live sets are defined by electronic effect pedals and looping driven with fearless finesse, coloured by the ferocity of her instrumental output and shaded by deep creativity, her earnest voice and pure joy.

Featuring:
Xani Kolac - electric violin/vocals
Meg Kolac - electric bass
Justin Olsson - drum kit

Aug 20th - w/ Zevon Lee

Zevon Lee brings the heat with a sound straight out of a vinyl collection but built for the now. Think smoky soul vocals & fuzzed-out blues guitar and the swagger of '70s rock ‘n’ roll—all wrapped in sharp pop instincts. Raised on groove and grit, his live shows are all sweat, soul, and no filler.

“Lee’s perfect blend of soul and pop sensibilities mashed into electrifying blues guitar work, he is another of the absolute strikes of gold I have discovered this year.” Andrew Slaidins

Aug 27 - w/ Raleigh Williams

Raleigh Williams powerhouse vocalist, songwriter, and artistic producer with a deep and versatile career across jazz, soul, pop, world music, and more. Raleigh has led her own French jazz project La Nuit Blanche, headlined her own shows, performed with the ARIA Award-winning Cookin' on 3 Burners, and was a vocalist with the rock-Americana-blues supergroup FOOLS. She’s featured on Buddha Bar albums, provided backing vocals for Australian legends, and performed at countless festivals and stages across Australia such as Bluesfest, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Stonnington Jazz Festival, St Kilda Blues Festival, Adelaide Festival, Wangaratta Blues and Roots. Echuca Blues, Melbourne Recital Centre, Federation Square. She’ll be joined by renowned guitarist-singer-songwriter Jonathan Skovron, sharing tunes from both their original projects and a few surprises from her CO3B time.
