From sweet blues to gritty stomping blues-rock beats, and now having eight nominations in the prestigious Independent Blues Awards in the USA and three back-to-back Number One Australian Blues albums, this is an artist you do not want to miss. The Matty T Wall Band returns to the Duke stage for the first time this year, as a four-piece, more motivated and addictively electric than ever with two rhythm legends of the scene, Ric Whittle and Leigh Miller and the addition of a local keyboard virtuoso in John Leotta. Matty and the band are fresh from wowing audiences in their 2024 European Tour where they left an indelible mark, flooring audiences and prompting follow up headline spots at future festivals.

Matty has crossed paths with legends of the scene, like Walter Trout, Eric Gales, Kirk Fletcher, Dave Hole and he gives as good as he gets, bringing the attitude of Perth Blues Rock to the international blues scene.
