Bob Marley Tribute Show featuring Australia’s reggae royalty, Shemreggae, the only Australian artist to have recorded and toured with The Original Wailers of Bob Marley. The collaboration with The Wailers continues to this current day with the new album, ‘Dangerous’, recorded in 2024. 

Shemreggae’s musical journey of 30 years started in Qld under the name ‘Exodus’ who performed across the country and headlined Australia’s very own Reggae Sunsplash in the late 90’s. This catapulted Shemreggae to the leading Australian reggae act at the time. 

As well as touring the Pacific, Shemreggae worked with a number of international acts such as ‘Inner Circle’, ‘Lucky Dube’ and members of the ‘Uprising Band’ of Julian Marley. On their first album, ‘Traffic Jam’, Shemreggae was backed by The Original Wailers in Jamaica and the album has been regarded by many as one of The Wailers’ greatest works. 

The authenticity of the Tribute Show is evident when seeing the 9-piece outfit live, with mesmerizing performances and a captivating show that has left crowds in want of more. The sound is groovy and authentic with vibrant vocals, horns and a commercial edge. 

The songs are a combination of the classic Bob Marley tracks from the ‘Legend’ album and select originals from the albums recorded with The Wailers. Shem’s passion and raspy voice is reminiscent of the past and this combined with awesome stage presence and showmanship makes for a great show every time. The Australian outfit boasts an international line up consisting of drums, percussion, bass, lead and rhythm guitar, keyboards, trumpet, saxophone and 2 backing vocalists. Shemreggae’s ‘Bob Marley Tribute Show’ continues the great legacy of the King of reggae with a strong connection to the original.
