An unforgettable evening of music and entertainment celebrating the music of Frank Sinatra

Doors 6 pm | Band at 7.30 pm

Duke of George presents

The James Flynn Little Big Band "Being Frank"

Jazz vocalist and entertainer James Flynn is delighted to return to Duke of George for another fantastic evening of music and entertainment. His previous show, ‘Kings of Swing” was a huge hit and encompassed all the giants of jazz including Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Micheal Buble, Dean Martin and more. This time the focus is on one artist as he celebrates Frank Sinatra, in “Being Frank”

James has a real affinity with the music of Sinatra having previously toured throughout the UK, Western Australia and Northern Queensland with “Simply Sinatra” a production he wrote, produced and starred in. He captures the essence of the great man but not as a mimic. This is not a tribute act, James is a standalone vocalist who puts his own stamp on everything he does. Along with his six piece little big band they will swing their way through a sensational show that is simply one great tune after the next.

James will be accompanied by the fabulous Fly little Big Band, featuring:

Paul Millard – Tenor Sax

Mark Underwood – Trumpet

Bill MacAlister – Trombone

Bob Tweedie – Piano

Sam Markman – Bass

Micheal Pigneguy – Drums

‘Come fly with me’ while you go ‘Under my skin’, get caught in ‘The Tender trap’ then take it ‘Nice and easy’ because I guess ‘That’s life’ and we can have ’One for my baby’ before we‘Fly me to the moon. While still doing it ‘My way’

For lovers of good music and a great night out.
