Duke of George presents

The Music of Roy Orbison and Chris Isaak

Following critical acclaim and sold-out shows of Eagles interpretations, the dynamic trio of Nathan Gaunt, Howie Morgan and Trevor Jalla now combine forces to present the music of none other than “The Big O” himself - Roy Orbison, and the heartfelt crooning of bonafide country/blues legend, Chris Isaak.

Performed in a tight jazz trio style, this is an intimate working of timeless hits such as You Got It, Blue Bayou, Only the Lonely, In Dreams and of course, Pretty Woman, with select B-side cuts and collaboration tunes peppered in to keep even the keenest listener on their toes. This night is not a persona tribute; it's a celebration of classic songs performed in a unique and fresh way that highlights the music, the melody, and the voice of these great artists, by three of Perth’s most lauded and awarded performers/vocalists/songwriters.

Kicking off a night of crooner’s delight is a tip of the hat to Chris Isaak, who at once reinvigorated and modernised the 50’s heartthrob genre with songs such as Blue Hotel, Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing, Somebody’s Crying and the standout smash hit, Wicked Game.

So slick your hair back, put on your Sunday dress, and come down and embrace a night of timeless songs rejuvenated with both love and artistry.
