An evening dedicated to Platforming 20 incredible dancers to perform the pole routine of their dreams. Inspired by @pdsmuk and @blxckstage I wanted to work on bringing an event here to Gadigal (Sydney, Australia) that platforms minorities that exist within the pole community, This event was created to center BIPOC dancers, SW and fierce allies of these communities. A night where the chosen 20 dancers will perform something true to them, share their stories, exhibit their art and be celebrated for their originality and talent. A space that isn’t about competition, or the need of having to have had years of training or access to classes, but entirely from essence, and personal style.

On August 22nd join us at The Vanguard to witness and celebrate these artists, their movement, their stories and what they bring to the stage. Support dancers from minorities who may not always have spaces to truly share themselves. A night of celebration and creation.

Joining the lineup will also be 4 feature guest dancers, who represent some of this country’s most unique talent and style.

The Pyramid would like to acknowledge that this event will be taking place on unceeded Gadigal Land, always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.

No Outside food or drinks are to be brought into the venue. 

All children under 18 not permitted including small children and babies. Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Drivers Licence or Passport. Intoxicated persons will not be admitted. No thongs, steel cap boots, or spiked attire. Dangerous  behaviour including Crowd Surfing, Stage Diving, Moshing and Violent Dancing is not allowed and will result in your immediate removal from  this venue. Inappropriate behaviour at this venue will lead to your banning.

We know that times are tough, but please help us stay open by arriving when the doors open and eating & drinking at the venue.
