MRS K

Michael (MRS K) is a writer/doctor/arts student living and working on unceded Wurundjeri country whose image-dense poetry fuses classical, romantic and modernist themes.

He has a poetry collection, Juvenilia (2025), published by Vibe Union, and has been featured in their past two community poetry anthologies.

He was the fortuitous winner of the Slamalamadingdong poetry slam in April this year, and has appeared on Yaru's Barefoot Metaphors in an immaculately-produced musical collaboration (thanks Yaru!).

ROSLYN ORLANDO

ROSLYN ORLANDO is an artist, writer and gardener based in Melbourne on Wurundjeri Country. Her writing and artistic works explore relationships between language, botany, history and technology. She studied journalism at the University of Sydney, and Arts Politics at Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. Her poetry book Ekhō was released in Australia through Upswell in 2024 and in the USA by Soft Skull Press in 2025.

MWAFFAQ AL-HAJJAR


Mwaffaq Al-Hajjar is a Syrian poet, artist, and researcher whose work moves between literature, performance, and visual art. Holding an MA in Comparative Literature, his poetry explores unhomeness, remembrance, spatial justice, and the politics of the self. He is the author of Poetic Entropy (2019) and A City in Debt, A Hole in the Head (2024), and has contributed to several anthologies. Mwaffaq was awarded the Poetry Prize for Refugees in Kuala Lumpur in 2017. His theatre journey began in Damascus and continued in Kuala Lumpur, where he made his international debut in 2019. He has performed and published his work across Syria, Malaysia, Singapore, and Qatar, and his latest projects blend poetry, artwork, and prose shaped by interdisciplinary imagination.
