THE RITUAL OF THE WRESTLING RING IS RESURRECTED ONCE MORE!

After rocking your world last year, the holey trinity of Shandy, Gogo Bumhole and The Tivoli have joined forces with Melt Festival to deliver you from the evil of a boring night-out with Round Two at the altar of the radical, righteous, and riotous evening of wrestling known as HOLE-MANIA!

In 2024, we delivered a divine evening of DJs, Drag, and Debauchery - and our devotion to doing so has only deepened since. If God is a DJ, The Tivoli is his church, wrestling is the rhythm, and you are the music!

For this next edition, prepare for more rapturous rhythms on the dancefloor, to worship at the altar of divas and dynamos, and witness as scores are settled and beefs brought to a head for one wet and wild night of wrestlemania fantasia.

Of course, kicking it all off, we are once again calling on all the colours of the rainbow to battle it out in our COMMUNITY THROWDOWN - where we invite queer champions to step up from four corners of our community to battle it out for the glory of their own communities: DOLLS vs TWINKS vs BEARS vs DYKES

After the surprise victory of the Twinks last year, our teams will return to battle it out in the lube pool and see who will emerge to glory and win THE HOLEY GRAIL on behalf of their community across trials including:

• Beer Chuggin’
• Ass Smackin’
• Lube Wrestlin’

NOTES FOR THE EVENING

This event takes place on Stolen Lands of the Turrbal & Jagera/Yuggera people. We acknowledge all Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded. This was and Always Will Be, Aboriginal Land. We offer deep respect and love to our First Nations communities, on this land and across the world. 

We want people to feel as safe and welcome as possible, so please feel free to message the Shandy Instagram or Facebook page with any queries or concerns.

As always, please don't assume any one's gender or pronouns. If you get chatting with someone, it's as easy as a quick "what are your pronouns?" and you can carry on.

Consent is key – ask before touching and await a clear response; fuck yes or no thank you!

Be respectful and considerate – do your bit to make the space safer and more comfortable for others: a party is only as good as the people attending, and we all have a role to play in having the best night ever!

Racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, or transphobic behaviour/attitudes will not be tolerated. Please see Shandy team members, barstaff or security if someone is making you uncomfortable.

Last but not least, look out for your friends and other party-goers & stay hydrated!

ACCESS

The venue is wheelchair accessible, but some parts of the venue are only accessible by stairs or up or down a step. Most of the venue is carpeted, but the main dancefloor is a wooden floor.

Strobe lights will not be used during the event, however lights may occasionally move at a fast speed.
