Mosaic is a vibrant 10-piece contemporary jazz ensemble rapidly emerging as an exciting force in the Sydney jazz scene.
Mosaic perform and premiere all original compositions written for the band by Australian composers under 25, culminating in a uniquely youthful and energetic sound.

Mosaic is collaboration between Braden Clarke (Flugelhorn), Chiara Minotto (Bari Sax), Sarah Morrisson (Trumpet), Lee Orszaczky (Trombone), Leo Marland (Saxophone), Lachie Eggert (Saxophone), Matt Simmonds (Drums), Cailey Mei (Trombone), James Watt (Bass), and Ravi Trachtenberg-Ray (Piano)

Their debut album, Where We Are Now, is a compilation of new compositions written specifically for Mosaic by members of Mosaic and commissioned by emerging Australian composers including Sarah Purdon, Thnvir Gill, and Gabriella Hill. Where We Are Now debuted at #2 on the ARIA Jazz & Blues charts and #5 on the AIR Independent Albums charts.
Liz Player is an up-and-coming, Sydney based Jazz vocalist pushing the boundaries of creativity, entertainment and storytelling.
Emerging from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Liz has been mentored by jazz greats such as Judy Bailey, Kevin Hunt and Craig Scott. As such, she’s honed a sound that evokes the vocal masters of the past and the genre-pushing artists of today whilst always centring audience experience.
With her first live album released in 2023, Liz has showcased her craft across multiple sold-out headline shows and on some of the largest stages in Australia, including Qudos Bank Arena and the ICC. In 2024, she made history on The Voice Australia being the first singer to scat in a decade.
