Known for his dynamic performances and soulful R&B sound, Mufaro has captivated audiences with his award-winning music, including a QUBE Effect win, standout appearances at Jungle Love and Yonder Festivals, and sell-out shows across Brisbane and Melbourne. 

This special event celebrates Mufaro’s musical journey, leading to his most recent EP, everything. You can anticipate a high-energy show accompanied by the electrifying presence of his live band. The evening promises a blend of heartfelt lyrics, infectious rhythms, and an atmosphere that honours the legacy of R&B, Jazz, Soul and Afro music. 

Joining the lineup will be Janelle Ashley, whose sound is a hypnotic blend of jazz and contemporary R&B, infused with the soulful essence of icons like Erykah Badu, SZA, and Snoh Aalegra—proof her musicality is anything but dull. Whether igniting stages with powerhouse vocals or moving hearts with intimate, lullaby-like ballads, she delivers every performance with passion and versatility. 

Setting the vibes for the night is JVME, a DJ and producer from Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia, brings an undeniable passion for RnB, Hip-Hop, and Afro-inspired sounds to every set. Often Blending his performances with live saxophone, his sets are a home run every time! 

Set in the vibrant Kindred Bandroom (renowned for hosting a diverse array of artists and fostering a community of music lovers), this concert is set to be a celebration of musical heritage and innovation.
